Jesus operated in flowing with the times and seasons.

He told the Jewish leaders who questioned his authority to heal that he could do nothing on his own but …

“… he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” John 5:19 NIV

In some of his final words to His followers, He also said:

“It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.” Acts 1:7 NKJV

This was an answer to the question they asked him: “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6 NKJV

Jesus was saying that they didn’t need to know the time that Israel would be restored, but they did need to learn how to operate in the gift of discerning the times and seasons.

You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. Matthew 16:3 NIV
