This is an exciting time of pulling back the cover on how God speaks in creative ways.
And you must understand what God is speaking for the current time and season we are living in now!
Understanding times and seasons is a form of discernment that is mentioned in
1 Chronicles 12:32
“… from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.” (NIV)
The sons of Issachar understood the times and the seasons.
Understanding times and seasons is not about predicting the second coming of Christ.
It’s the spiritual gift of discernment that aligns you with what God is doing right now.
When you learn God’s voice it allows you to be in the right place at the right time.
Now is your time to “learn to discern” with my new online workshop:
Jesus operated in flowing with the times and seasons.
He told the Jewish leaders who questioned his authority to heal that he could do nothing on his own but …
“… he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” John 5:19 NIV
In some of his final words to His followers, He also said:
“It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.” Acts 1:7 NKJV
This was an answer to the question they asked him: “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6 NKJV
Jesus was saying that they didn’t need to know the time that Israel would be restored, but they did need to learn how to operate in the gift of discerning the times and seasons.
You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. Matthew 16:3 NIV
Maybe you do hear God, but don’t have enough understanding of the many ways God can speak to you in order to know what to do next.
In this new workshop, Doug will share his best practices on how to recognize God’s will and timing when things seem unclear.
